The general membership meeting for March 2004 concentrated on the travel program for the spring session. Representatives from all travel teams were present. Boy’s travel commissioner, Brooke Martin, presented material concerning team organization, duties and scheduler considerations. The following major points were discusses.

• Stickered team rosters were distributed
• Practice equipment upgrades
• Goals to be secured along the fence at the upper major practice area; practice schedule will be reviewed to assure fair assignment to this areas
• Storage boxes will contain practice equipment for travel use; travel coaches will receive keys to these boxes and must be responsible for the care of the equipment
• All practices will be held at the Middle School (except for the possibility of one-time clinics at Evans which must be approved by John Papinchak). Practices may start next week (3/15/04), pending field conditions

• South district meeting at Cal U on 3/14/04 at 2 PM. All except division 1 & A teams must attend. John Papinchak should be immediately informed if there is a problem.
• Once schedules are received provide them to John Alukonis for field assignments. Special time requests should be made early. Complete schedules must be finalized and provided to all opponents prior to the second week of play. Any change of schedule or make-up games must be coordinated through the referee commissioner, John Alukonis; try to provide at least two alternate game dates/times.
• Emphasize parking restrictions to the families of our own players and our opponents. Players on first field park across Triphammer. No parking along roadways; this is a problem for emergency vehicle access (police will be called to enforce). SPSA discussing potential for increased fines with the township.
• Inform travel commissioners of any problems or when you will be unavailable for games and who is your substitute contact (in case of rain-outs).
• Coaches need to promote timely registration of their players for next season.
• Team duty assignments were reviewed
• One representative for 3 hours on 3/20/04 for field preparation; if unavailable contact Dave Shero for alternate assignment

• Set-up/take-down for first/last team on each field and for field transition. Remember to empty trash containers at take-down
