· Rain-outs from 9/18 will be made up on 11/6. Carry over game schedule and all team assignments. No practices the week before.
· Field maintenance will be held on 11/13 from 9 AM to 12 PM. Rain date on 11/14 from 1 to 4 PM.
· Township applied for PA grant money for the new field ($150K). Also working on access to new field location.
· The high school soccer team area at the Middle School has severely deteriorated. Dave Shero will try over-seeding.
· Soliciting ideas for soccer improvements for the SP township meeting at the end of October. Several were identified for the wish list: sewer line for bathroom (maybe share with baseball), new field, black-top parking area, bleachers on field A, additional field maintenance building. Forward any additional ideas to John Papinchak.
· Travel coaches need to police parking, it is getting to be a problem.
· A high school player has requested to build player benches for SPSA as part of his eagle Scout project. He will come to the next meeting and present his ideas and proposal.

Open Discussion
· Kicks for cancer fund-raiser. Players get pledges of money for a given number of touches during the week. No real interest to pursue through SPSA; too much going on already.
· The registrar had compiled a list of all players whose registration fee was delinquent for this year and all those who were owed a refund. The treasurer will send a letter to those who owe SPSA seeking payment. If not resolved, this will come before the board and may affect spring eligibility. Refunds will be processed soon.
· Tom Depres solicited SPSA assistance in starting St Joan soccer teams to play in a Catholic league. Discussed use of equipment. Evans fields would not be available, but the Middle school may be an option; school district approval would be needed. SPSA previously sponsored U30 play at the Middle school. This topic was discussed at the subsequent board meeting.
