Upcoming dates

• Spring In-House coaches meeting scheduled for March 14^th at 7:30

• Were reviewed with a change to spring field prep scheduled for March 19^th 9-12 and 1-4 (different from agenda dates) 
• Pa West E license course Mar 29^th and 31^st, April 5/6/7
• Spring In-House coaches meeting Mar 14^th at 7:30

 

Constitution and Bylaws

• The changes proposed were read and a motion was made and approved
• Changes and new constitution/bylaws were passed unanimously

 

Coaching and Player Development

• Pat gave an update on the upcoming E license.
• Right now has 8 registrations in hand, with 5 more possibly interested
• Need a total of 20
• In-house commissioners along with Pat will try and get more interested candidates

 

John Papinchak received a memo from the township that an AED/CPR course will be offered through Tri-County EMS.  Those interested should contact him or the township office by 2/18/05

 

In-House

• Updated rosters with new signups need to be set by March 1^st
• A U7 player from the fall will be placed on a U6 team for the spring as requested by coach and parents.
• A scheduled ½ break around lunchtime will be worked into the game schedule to allow the referees time for lunch.  The last game on Saturdays will start at 4:30 instead of 4:00

 

Travel

• If any changes to rosters or player passes need to contact Tom Whitehurst ASAP
• New signups will be placed on appropriate teams
• 3/13/05 4:00 Cal U meeting for Div B, C and 2,3,4

• John Schwab and Tom Wilson (U14G Div B, U14G Div A) each have lost 2 girls from their teams.  Have asked for contacts from other communities to fill these spots. John Papinchak will provide email addresses to them for presidents of other associations for help.
• Dave Shero gave an update on the viability of a U17G team.  Right now have 23 yeses and 2 maybe.  Waiting for final numbers.  Debbie Morgan has agreed to help him.
• Brooke mentioned that Tad Thompson has resigned as a U13B coach.  2 candidates have stated their interest in coaching the team.  Further discussion will follow in board meeting

Speak Out

• Viki Smith was concerned about what will happen with the U13B team and showed her concern for the boys who want to continue the spring season.  It was mentioned that the topic would be discussed in the board meeting.
• Randy Gordon asked if there would be or has been any affiliation with Century Cup since they are in the process of building a new facility and SPSA is in need of field space.  None was noted by the board.  Of note, it was mentioned that the township and SPSA are working together to build a new field in the future.
