o Each player plays all others in one or one and one half minute games
o 10 yd x 15 yd field with a 3 yd goal at each end
o Score by dribbling through or passing ball on the ground through the goal
o Player gets 3 points for a win and 1 point for a tie. Extra points awarded for shutouts and goals in excess of 3
o No parent would be allowed to participate or observe their child’s eval

In-House
· Several U8 coaches are directing the referees during games. Commissioner to observe and address
· Quiet Day went OK. Expectations not well disseminated
· A U15 tournament game was missed; coaches misunderstood the schedule. Commissioners will add the game to Championship Day
· General confusion over team numbers assigned for the tournament and the reference to those numbers in the schedules that were provided. Need a clearer method for next year.
· Tournament entertainment
o 5/14: face painting, Riverhounds and Ammo (10-12), Sparks (1-3), Health Tracks, Rita’s, Signature Apparel, picture distribution
o 5/21: Action Shots, Health Tracks, trophies
· Tournament duty assignments are under development for parking, set-up/take-down, vendor support and trash collection
· Tournament game revised durations for referees: U6 unaffected, U8 4x7 minutes and U10 and above 2x20 minutes
· Many IH player evaluations still need to be provided
Field and Structures
· Progress on new field at Evans to be placed above the baseball fields. Access will be around the existing baseball fields so protective fencing will be needed. Dave Shero showed draft plans. State grant of $100,000 awarded and an equal grant from the landfill is under pursuit.
· Dave Shero to assure proper field crowning and topsoil thickness
· F&S Commissioner would like to develop an SPSA consulting committee to interface with the township on the development of the field. This committee would consist of knowledge association members in the areas of drainage, grass requirements and general construction.
· Current construction efforts across the entranceway from the upper field will provide a playground area, basketball courts, a pavilion and a pedestrian walkway.
· The F&S Commissioner purchased a field tarp to protect selected areas of the fields during heavy rains. This tarp was effectively used on the concession end of the lower field to maintain acceptable playing conditions.
