In-House
- Parking signage could have been improved for
Kohl’s Cup
- Talk of U12 girls wanting to play on a smaller
field
Action:
Commissioner to follow-up
with U12 girls coaches
- U15 – not enough players at
games and practices. Need to divide talent better.
- U10 – player (parents) not
indicating that kids are playing football on sign-up sheet.
Travel
- Schedule change for Oct. 23. Schedule will not be as tight as
originally anticipated.
- Consider posting schedule at field indicating
what lines to paint on the upper field each week.
- Beginning in the spring the setup/take down
procedures will be posted inside the equipment room
- Coaches were given recommendations for handling
lop-sided games.
- Coaches were reminded that official South Park uniforms are not to be
modified. Also need to remind
in-coming U10 teams each year about uniform requirements.
- Coaches need to report game cancellations with
travel and referee commissioners so that makeup games can be scheduled.
- Coaches were reminded that all players must play
at least 50% of the game in all divisions except Divisions 1 and A.
- Concession stand still needs to be covered even
if a game is cancelled.
- Discussed conduct of coaches
and assistants with opposing players, coaches, and referees.
- Scores need to be reported to Jim and Paul each
week.
- Evaluation dates for travel players will be held
on June 3 or June 10
- Reservations for Edinboro need to be made as
soon as possible.
Fields
- Broken goal is almost ready.
